Barahona Center for the Study of Books in Spanish for Children and Adolescents

This center, founded and directed by Dr. Isabel Schon, is located at
California State University San Marcos. The searchable site gives
bibliographical information, reviews and summaries. The center also
offers summer workshops on children’s literature.

UW - Milwaukee: Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies - Americas Award information can be obtained here as well as many different types of resources.

Chilean Books to the World
offers the names of publishing houses and titles from Chile. The
information can be searc hed by author, title, publishing house, or
general search. The page is available in English or Spanish.

Revista de literatura infantil Although it was last updated in 2002,
this site contains excellent reviews, interviews, and lists of
recommended books. A valuable resource.

IBBY International Board on Books for Young People “Ibby Worldwide” lists national sections that have websites which frequently have lists of recommended books.

ICDL – International Children’s Digital Library - This site contains complete books in may languages and reading levels. The ICDL's mission is to: "excite and inspire the world's children to become members of the global community – children who understand the value of tolerance and respect for diverse cultures, languages and ideas -- by making the best in children's literature available online".

Imaginaria : Revista Quincenal de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil Edited in Argentina by Educared. This bulletin contains reviews, interviews, along with stories and poems.

International Youth Library
Throughout each year, the language specialists at the Internationale
Jugendbibliothek (International Youth Library / IYL) in Munich select
recently published books that they consider especially noteworthy. This
“premium label” is given to books of international interest that
deserve a wider reception because of their universal theme and/or their
exceptional and often innovative artistic and literary style and
design. This year’s collection contains 250 titles in 30 languages from
